cheech4487 > This flower is called Arrowhead & grows in shallow fresh water. I shot this in a marsh here in Massachusetts. I was walking on a narrow footbridge & had to wait for a couple to pass....as I waited I wondered what I would get if I shot a Macro of the flower....I had "no idea" what the result would be. It was a really sunny day but the footbridge was overgrown & provided a good amount of shade. I took the shot straight out of my hand at shoulder height and what you see is what the camera captured, with a little contrast adjustment from PS.

Shot this wildflower in my yard very early in the morning, just before work. I recommend viewing this in XLarge format to truly capture its beauty.
cheech4487 > Shot this Chicory on the banks of the Sakonnet River in Tiverton R.I.. The stamens on this flower are absolutely amazing!
